Katelyn Wilson, LCPC

The creation of Low Tide Counseling has been a dream of mine for many years, and many years in the making. Part of this dream is ensuring that clients are seen, heard, and feel cared for. I believe we can only do the hard work with those we trust, so therapeutic fit is of the upmost importance.

Most therapists out there have stories, and I have one too. I am familiar with many of the struggles of my clients and have faced some of my own. My experiences have allowed me to build the empathy and compassion as a therapist and human, allowing me to better connect with my clients.

I believe in meeting the client where they are on their journey, and walking alongside them as they discover where they want to go, and who they want to be. My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming space where you can enter and know that you will be met with an open heart, willingness to understand, and non judgmental approach.

I have been working in the mental health community for the last 8 years. In these years I advocated for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking, worked with children and families in a school-based capacity, and held a therapist position at an eating disorder clinic with adolescents and adults in an intensive outpatient setting (IOP). My education consists of undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Montana State University and a Masters Degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Montana State University.

When I am not in the office you can catch me traveling, cozying up with a good book or movie, on a beach or anywhere near the water, playing tennis or spending time with our chihuahuas.

Katelyn is based out of Helena and offers in person sessions as well as telehealth sessions to adults and couples in Montana and Arizona.

Baylee Rook, SWLC

My work and education background is diverse, but it has one common thread: I enjoy creating deep connections with those around me. This led me to pursue my Master's in Social Work from Carroll College where I gained experience working with food insecurity, disordered eating, and body image. I currently work with people who are 16+ and experiencing disordered eating, body image distress, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, and relationship struggles.

My approach to therapy is friendly, casual, and always based in curiosity and respect. I believe healing happens when we are able to show up as our most authentic selves and are met with compassion and non-judgment. I think therapy should be supportive and empowering, and while it can be hard work or bring up discomfort, it can also include laughter and joy.  My aim is to help my clients feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to what matters most in their lives.

When I am not in the office, you can find me exploring outside with my husband and three dogs, daydreaming, treasure hunting at the thrift store, or trying a new recipe.

Baylee is based out of Missoula and offers in person and telehealth sessions to teens, adults, and couples across Montana.
